The Cordyceps militaris mushroom has had a long use in Tibetan and Chinese medicine who give the mushroom numerous properties. The mushroom is widely used in top sports for its supposed effects. The Cordyceps militaris has been given the name caterpillar fungus and that name really does suit this mushroom. It parasitizes itself on the caterpillars of various butterflies that do not survive this break-in ... We at Foodsporen are crazy about nature, including butterflies! The Cordyceps militaris fruiting bodies that we use in our liquid extract are therefore specially grown on a well-thought-out natural substrate which not only ensures a healthy harvest, but also a product with a much lower consistency of heavy metals than of Cordyceps from the wild!
